2008-1-22€ending aluminum rod Fabrication. i had to bend a mess of 3/8 aluminum rod in a specific pattern. i tacked some pipe stubs to the bench in the pattern i wanted then gently warmed the rod to get it to bend. it was 6061 rod too much heat made a mess and too little heat didnt bend tightly arround the radius of the pipe, it was kind of a feel thing.
